Daniel Sandoval is an international student from Colombia who is pursuing his master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication at Nazareth College. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Even though he has work experience in the Call Center industry where he served as a Quality Supervisor and Workforce Senior, he has decided to follow his passion and do what he has always wanted to do, which is marketing. He is thrilled by the fact that marketing is always evolving and allows people to be as creative as they want.
He likes animals and enjoys spending time with his dogs Carter. He also likes sports in general, but soccer is his favorite. Finally, bungee jumping is something that he will never do again. After jumping from a height of 328 feet, he classified that experience as the most horrible one in his life.
What is your favorite time of year and why? Definitely, Summer is my favorite time. I enjoy sunny days, being able to walk and sit on the grass, and here there is an interesting fact: In Colombia, we do not have seasons. The weather is the same all the year long. It is bright and sunny. I do not really like winter since I had not been in touch with snow before I came here.
What food would be impossible for you to give up? Definitely chicken. I eat chicken at least once a day. Chicken is one of the healthiest food that you can buy. It does not only have high protein content, but is also cheap and low in fat; specially the chicken breast.
If you could teleport, where would you go? If I could teleport, I would go to Egypt. I think the pyramids that they made are fascinating and I would die to see them in person. I can not believe somebody could build something like that many years ago!
What’s your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon? I am currently working on Sundays, but when I do not work, I love to wear comfortable clothes and stay at home, watch some movies and then go out to grab a bite.
What jam gets you pumped up? I am a person who needs to listen to music while working out. Accordingly, there is a song that really gets me pumped up and it just perfect for that purpose. Its name is “Remember the name” by Fort Minor. I like to work out hard, and that songs makes want to push myself.
